I didn't ask for any of this. I didn't ask to be some kind of hero. But when your whole life gets swept up by a tornado—taking you with it—you have no choice but to go along, you know?
Sure, I've read the books. I've seen the movies. But I never expected Oz to look like this. To be a place where Good Witches can't be trusted, Wicked Witches may just be the good guys. A place where even the yellow brick road is crumbling.
What happened? Dorothy.
My name is Amy Gumm—and I'm the other girl from Kansas. I've been recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked, and I've been given a mission: Remove the Tin Woodman's heart. Steal the Scarecrow's brain. Take the Lion's courage. And then—Dorothy must die.
So first, let's got brought the pros of this book. I LOVED THIS BOOK! It is like a retelling/sequel of the Wizard Of Oz. It is about what happened when Dorothy returned to Oz. The characters were all so unique and I thought that was great and Paige changed all of the main characters from the original's personalities in this book. It ended on an immense cliffhanger and that was annoying, so I'm so going to get the second book. I love Paige's writing style and Amy's personality. Now, for the cons.  There are few though. Firstly, I think that Paige killed of a main character too soon and I thinks she could have been a major part of the plot. Secondly, I thought at some parts there was too much going on. I feel like the character of Glinda could have been touched on more. Lastly, I got frustrated at some part when the story dragged on. All in all, I think it was a great book!
Quote Of The Book:
"Words like Good and Wicked had lost their meaning. What really
mattered was right and wrong."
- Amy Gumm, page 389
I would rate this book

    1. Yes, just because at some points the plot was a bit all over the place, but it was a great book.
